Everything Shopify, under one roof

Shopify work rarely stays in one lane. A new theme needs data moved, the data needs the warehouse joined, and the warehouse needs the marketplaces in step. Our strategists, designers, Shopify developers, integration engineers and growth specialists work as one team, so every part is planned with the rest.

What we do on Shopify

Built for the day after launch

A lot of Shopify work stops at launch. Ours carries on after it. Through Managed eCommerce we run Shopify stores day to day for the brands behind them, so we build with what happens once real orders arrive in mind: the app that quietly slows every page, the theme edit that breaks on the next update, the eBay order and the website order that both claim the last one in stock.

That is why every store we build is made to be run. Your team edits it without a developer, Shopify’s updates go in without breaking it, and it is joined to the rest of the business from the first day.

We work with brands moving up from standard Shopify, retailers leaving Magento or WooCommerce, and multichannel businesses selling on eBay and Amazon alongside their own store. Based in Huddersfield, working with brands across the UK.

Shopify or Shopify Plus?

Most growing brands start on standard Shopify, and many stay there. Plus earns its cost when the business needs what the other plans cannot do.

In plain terms, Plus adds:

  • Checkout steps you can change: information, shipping and payment, with your own fields, messages and rules
  • Custom apps with your own discount, shipping and payment logic, built as Shopify Functions
  • Expansion stores for another country, brand or trade
  • Flow automations that work with your own custom apps
  • Higher API limits, so the systems joined to the store keep up on busy days

The audit sets out which side of the line you are on, with what each plan costs weighed against what it adds. If Plus pays back, we show you where. If it does not yet, we build on the plan you have, ready to move up when it does.

Store design and Shopify themes

Themes are where most Shopify stores go wrong, and it happens slowly. A bought theme gets edited, then edited again, until nobody wants to be the one who presses update. We build the other way round.

Our designers work from research into how your customers choose and buy, with desktop and phone designed together, and you sign the designs off before the build. Our developers then build on Shopify’s own themes, Horizon or Dawn, or from scratch, as sections and blocks your team can move, edit and reuse in the theme editor. Core theme files are never edited, so Shopify’s updates go in cleanly. Every section is checked for speed and accessibility before it goes live.

  • Desktop and phone designed together, signed off before the build
  • Sections your team edits without a developer
  • No edits to core theme files, so updates stay safe
  • Speed and accessibility checked on every section

Moving to Shopify without losing your rankings

A move to Shopify, whether from Magento, WooCommerce or a custom platform, is judged on what customers and Google notice: products that are all there, customers who can still sign in, and old links that still land somewhere useful.

Protecting your rankings is part of the plan from the start, and every move follows the same five steps:

  1. 1Everything mapped first: products and variants, collections, customers, order history, content and every address on the old site.
  2. 2A redirect for every old link, so customers and search engines land on the right page.
  3. 3Page titles, descriptions and content carried across, so Google finds the same pages at their new addresses.
  4. 4The new store tested against the old one, page by page, before anything switches.
  5. 5The switch timed around your trading days, with the old store kept ready until the new one has settled.

One detail catches out a lot of moves: customer passwords cannot be carried from one platform to another. We plan how returning customers sign in on the new store, so the first thing they meet is not a locked account.

Headless Shopify with Hydrogen and Oxygen

For brands that need more than a theme can give them, such as a storefront that behaves like an app, content from a separate CMS, or one front end over several stores, we build headless on Shopify. The storefront is built in Hydrogen and hosted on Oxygen, and Shopify still runs products, checkout and orders behind it.

Headless is a bigger commitment. It costs more to build and to run, and content is edited in a different place from the products, so the audit sets out whether it pays back for you. Where Shopify is not the right base at all, we build headless on Medusa.

  • Hydrogen storefronts hosted on Oxygen
  • Shopify’s checkout and orders kept behind the storefront
  • Content from a separate CMS where you need one

Custom apps and complex logic

When an app from the Shopify App Store does most of the job, the part it cannot do is usually the part the business depends on.

Our developers build that part, as custom apps, Shopify Functions, checkout extensions and Flow automations, for logic like:

  • Bundle and pack prices that stay right in the cart and at checkout
  • Trade prices, quantity rules and payment terms by customer
  • Stock held back for one channel, or released at a set time
  • Orders split across warehouses, or sent from the nearest one
  • Product data shaped for each marketplace from one record

Fewer apps also means a faster store and lower monthly app bills.

Shopify joined to the rest of the business

A store trading at volume rarely sells alone. Orders also come in from eBay and Amazon, stock is counted in a warehouse system, the money lands in Xero and email goes out through Klaviyo. When these are joined badly, the same problems show up: stock that is right on one channel and wrong on the next, orders that arrive twice or not at all, and accounts that never quite match the sales.

With 50+ channel integrations behind us, we join Shopify to:

  • eBay and Amazon, with one product record and one stock figure across every channel
  • Linnworks, so orders from every channel are picked, packed and sent from one place
  • Xero, with sales, fees and refunds matched in the accounts
  • Klaviyo, with the order and product data your emails need
  • Your ERP, couriers and the rest of what the business runs on

What makes it hold is the detail: a stock buffer for each channel, SKUs that match across every system, and one system in charge of each number. That is how the whole business runs on one set of numbers.

B2B and selling abroad on Shopify

Trade and international customers buy on the same Shopify store as everyone else. For B2B we set up company accounts with their own price lists, payment terms and quantity rules, so trade orders come in online rather than by email and phone. For selling abroad we set up Shopify Markets, with local currencies and prices, translated content, and duties and taxes handled at checkout.

Shopify SEO and growth

A fast, well-built store gives search a strong start. Shopify leaves some of the technical side to you, and we fix it: product pages reachable through several collection addresses, collection pages with no words on them, missing structured data, and apps that load their scripts on every page. Our growth team then runs content, search and shopping ads, and Klaviyo email that brings customers back, as one plan from your own numbers.

AI agents inside your Shopify store

We put AI agents to work inside Shopify on the routine jobs: product titles and descriptions written in your brand’s voice, images replaced and checked, prices matched across your channels, and customer service replies drafted with the order and delivery details already looked up. Your team’s time goes on the decisions.

No agent changes your store on its own. Every change is a dry run first, you approve it, the store is backed up before anything is applied, and every change is logged so it can be put back. Agents never delete.

Five steps behind every agent

  3. BackupEverything saved before a change.
  4. ApplyOnly what you approved.
  5. LogEvery change can be put back.

After launch

Launch is when the store starts earning, and when most of the work on it begins. Through Managed eCommerce a senior team looks after the store month after month: theme and app updates, new sections and pages, fixes, speed and search checks, and a monthly report against agreed targets. One accountable lead knows your store and the business behind it, so you never have to explain it from the start again.

Questions about Shopify

Book a call
  • Will we lose our search rankings if we move to Shopify?

Protecting them is part of the plan. Every old link gets a redirect, page titles and content carry across, and the switch is timed around your trading days. After launch we watch Search Console and fix anything that slips.

  • Do we need Shopify Plus?

Only if the business needs what Plus adds: checkout steps you can change, custom apps with your own logic, expansion stores or higher API limits. Many growing brands do well on standard Shopify. The audit shows which side of the line you are on.

  • A theme, a custom theme or headless?

A well-built theme does the job for most stores. A custom theme makes sense when the design or the logic has outgrown a ready-made one. Headless on Hydrogen is for brands that need a storefront a theme cannot give them, and it costs more to run. We recommend the build that pays back for the business, with the cost of running it set out before you commit.

  • Can you take on our existing Shopify store?

Yes. Our team starts with an audit of the theme, apps, data and speed, fixes what is costing you sales, and takes over the running of it if you want us to. You do not need to rebuild to start working with us.

  • Who owns the store and the code?

You do. The store stays in your Shopify account, and the theme and any custom apps we build are yours, documented so another team could pick them up.

  • Is it safe to let AI agents work on our store?

They cannot act on their own. Every change is a dry run first, approved by you and backed up before it is applied, and agents never delete.

  • Where do we start?
